I get to hang out with Jaclyn tonight! Yay! We're going to dinner downtown with a couple people. Strangely enough, one of the girls was a friend of mine in middle school.
Small world.

Smile
All this free time is driving me crazy.
Got up at 9:30 this morning. Played with Ruka. Played LBP (for much longer than I should have). Met a couple of aussies. Had a neat little chat. Got called a barbie. It was fun. Then they had to go because a wild wallaby knocked over a trash can outside of their house.
Now I'm back in my room and I'm quite determined to free up some space by cleaning out the little nightstand/cabinet next to my bed.

Bust-A-Move
Being home is glorious. Wonderful. I keep sleeping past 12 pm. I'll let the reader draw conclusions on what I think about that.
My parents and I went shopping yesterday. They want to get a new TV for the living room. I'm not totally opposed to the idea so much as I am opposed to the idea of adding to the endless cycle of buying and selling to replace one that works perfectly fine. As consumers, do we really need to toss out things that are perfectly good to replace it with something slightly better?
And then there are objects people keep for nothing more than the thought that they "might" need it again later. The house is full of stuff like that. Why don't we get rid of some of that instead?
I remember my last donation to Goodwill had to be done in secret since I should apparently save my old really clothes that haven't fit in five years for future use. That one really doesn't fly seeing as I don't have a little sister, nor is one bound to show up anytime soon.
My room is overflowing, and I hate to think I'm one of those people that buy for the sake of buying. Yet, that's what it looks like might have happened somewhere along the way.

Somebody to Love
Glee's season finale comes out tonight! w00t w00t! I can't wait to watch it on hulu. Craig and I were talking about the episode where Kristen Chenowith guest stars, and I ended up watching Glee episodes/videos while studying last night. Now I have the Glee version of Queen's Somebody to Love stuck in my head.
This morning pretty much sucked. I slept through my alarm and woke up at 7:45. Had an exam at 8. So, I ran all the way from McCabe to Sonoco and managed to make it before O'Hara walked in.
The exam itself was extremely difficult. My pencil jammed halfway through. Seventy-five percent of the thing was short answer and I kept second guessing myself. *sighs* Guess it just wasn't my morning.
Now I gotta get ready for the CI presentation at 11:30.
At least Godfrey is just a hop, step, and jump away from McCabe.

USPS
I just got a phone call.
The US post office has apparently lost something very important.
The one time I don't get a tracking number for the package. *smacks self in the head*

Cracker Barrel
So...I went to Cracker Barrel last night (for the first time, ever).
Matt solved the peg board puzzle in less than a minute. It was AMAZING.
Yay for geeky stuff!
Oh yeah, the 440 exam this morning was not quite a bad as I thought it would be. I really hope I get an A in the class. *sighs*

Modern Society
I am going to try being a more social person.
Hopefully this doesn't backfire. *crosses fingers*

Two Weeks
There are officially two weeks left in the semester. It looks like it's going to be an interesting two weeks though.
Just got back a little while ago from my individual review with Mrs. House. Art class. It wasn't as painful as I thought it was going to be. Now I have all my stuff back and I can't wait to do another character enlargement in charcoal (just for fun). Teehee.
Gotta put together that research report for Inks & Substrates. At least the experiment is done.
There's a CI meeting tonight at 7 to determine our "exam" meeting time. We're really just going to go over what needs to be done for our presentations. I think my group has sort of got that covered though.
Then there's that paper for Advanced Flexo. Geez, I wonder what Jay's going to have to say about the first draft Pari and I have put together. We're supposed to meet on Tuesday and check it over again before sending it out.
Fun, fun.
On another note, I met an interesting character last night with Lan Chi and Craig. Stayed out till 12 AM. Then I came back in and realized that someone had attempted to start a conversation with me on AIM. Oops. But, it was a good conversation nonetheless.
Oh wow, I still have an hour left before work. I think I'll watch the first Shugo Chara episode.
PS: No bandages with kitties today. Mrow.
