Quick updates

Ah, it's been a while since I've posted anything in here.

School-wise:
Things have been fun in most of my classes. I have a test tomorrow afternoon in Psychology. Shouldn't be too bad, I hope. I've been studying for it since last week. Andy and I are also ready to make film in 406 lab, so I'm working on the flexible package design now. I found with type of bag I want to use, I just have to measure and design it. Yay! The fun part. I was also looking through a book at B&N about Package design and I found this really awesome package I want to make for the last part of the 406 product line. w00t! We'll see though.

Anime-wise:
Not much going on. Started watching FMP: Fumoffu! Volume 1 was great. Hilarious, anything but a disappointment. It's so nice to have a show that's just as amazing as you'd expect it to be. I've also got volume 1 of Beck and eps 1 - 10 of Welcome to the NHK, courtesy of Daniel.

Friend-wise:
Things are just good. 'nuff said.

Much needed update...

I am back in school. It's not much different than before, but I do have to admit that I am having a little bit of trouble adjusting with the regular class schedules and such again.

I'm currently working on a label design for my 405/406 project. I will probably continue working on that tomorrow afternoon. I have to find some small 2 - 3 inch bottles to put them on too.

On another note, I haven't been watching a lot of anime lately. I guess that has to do with schoolwork. The days leave me feeling tired.

Oh yeah, there was a TAGA meeting last Thursday. We talked about the phosphorous ink and how we are going to incorporate it into our journal box. We got it all figured out, including the on/off switch, the circuitry, and the possible color. Now all we need to do is design it and get the exact size.

There's really not a whole lot going on in life right now. Over and out.

Dum dee dee dum dee...

So, Christmas was good. New Years is coming up and I have to get ready to move back to school. Yay! I think? I don't really know.

Anyways, I got a boxset of The Legend of the Condor Heroes from my dad for Christmas. Tis a Chinese soap opera full of fights, romance, and complicated family junk. I like the actors, but it really bothers me that they've changed so much of the story. Oh well, it's interesting in it's own way. I should really finish reading the novels online though.

On another note, I just finished reading Brisingr by Christopher Paolini. It took me a while to remember the Inheritance story, but it was a good read nonetheless. The story was erring on the predictable side every once in a while, but at least it had a good bit of action in it.

I also watched Ramen Fighter Miki (episode 1) thanks to the stream on ANN. I thought it would be interesting, but Miki is just too psychopathic. Most of the time psycho characters are fun to watch, but she's just over the top. Almost like it's...too much? I don't know. I hope the story gets better as it goes on. No, wait, I hope there's at LEAST a story somewhere in there. It's hard to tell from the first episode.

A new discovery!

So, I have discovered something that I could have done on my phone a long time ago. Want to know what it is? I can't believe I didn't think of this before.

My phone can record. Therefore, I can record anime music onto it and make those my new ringtones. Bwaha. =D

Oh yeah. I've been watching a lot of House lately. Off to take a shower and start in on Kashimashi.

Sequel/Spin-off

Just finished watching Kite: Liberator off of ANN's free stream. I thought it would be awesome (not as awesome as Kite, but still awesome). There were so many hints in the beginning of things to develop throughout the movie.

Then it just ended and fell flat on it's face. What a disappointment. =/

Housing Assignment

Right, it's a Saturday and I'm up at 7 am for something other than work or a convention. Why am I awake? Cause my friend is crazy and wants to hang out at my house from 8 am to whenever. XD Oh well, it'll be fun. We're going to have an anime fest!

The real reason I came here was to mark down my housing assignment at Clemson. Apparently I get to live in McCabe again! Yay! I'm glad that worked out. I love living there. It's going to be in room 305. w00t!

Kare Kano

Sooooooo!

I finally got around to finishing Kare Kano (after like, 2 and half years?) and now I feel very frustrated since the ending was so...so...NOT AN ENDING! Rawr!

It's five DVDs, 26 episodes, and it's so ridiculously misleading! The final episode doesn't even COUNT as FRIGGIN final episode!!! Aaaaaah! Driving me nuts, gotta find out what happens.

...maybe I should have picked up the manga sometime when I first started watching the DVDs. Hm...*starts looking for scans online*

On another note, I started downloading To Heart. I wanted to see the show that kept getting referenced in Comic Party. ^^v Seems pretty popular since there's an OVA and 2nd season to it.

Already Bored

Wow, I've only been home for a week and I already feel bored with the whole "nothing to do" lifestyle. Is that weird? Probably.

I was sitting in the store earlier reading a book when I started to let my mind drift off to other less important things. Like...what's the point of a blog?
