Anwar: Quiet Cas, I'm trying to pray to my God.
Cassie: Oh. Is he listening?
Anwar: ...I hope not.
I re-watched an episode of Skins tonight. I forgot how crazy all the kids were in the first two seasons. They were so personable though. And they weren't screwing each other and getting f*cked up every five minutes. It's such a mesmerizing show.
Anyways, Harry Potter midnight showing tonight. w00t! That's going to be fun. Michelle and I are leaving kinda soon-ish for it. I think. Not too sure.
I haven't been able to eat this week. I don't really know why. I guess it started last Friday after the zumba master class. I felt really hungry, but I just couldn't eat. The feeling hasn't dissipated much since then.
This week's been pretty monotonous.

Want you to make me feel...
Ok, Sam got a new song stuck in my head tonight. *sighs*
I've spent the past few hours cleaning up the apartment. People came. Brought presents. Cooked. Used general...stuff. Built a playground for Ruka. Left a mess. Huzzah. I spent a lot of time running between the dish washer, washing machine, and the new 5.1 surround sound system dad got me as a birthday gift. Cords, cords, cables, plugs, and all sorts of fun! It really is easier to sit down and organize it all when there's no one else here. I guess it was about time I rearranged a bit of the apartment anyways. Hehe. Now I can watch Glee tomorrow night in hi-def with awesome sound.
Oh well, it was a TON of fun. What a great/amazing/awesome/super/excellent/fun/happy/bubbly/exciting/fantabulous/funtabulous/splendid birthday & weekend. At least, I had a fun time. Can't really speak for the other three people involved. Hehe.
Plus, I now have cheesecake! Meep!

Fly away, fly away...
I now remember why I hate taking naps. Too bad I took one right after I got home from work today. Hm...time to think of dinner, but before that!
Work was kind of slow today. I don't know if that's because I was tired, or if it's because there was point in the middle of the day when I had absolutely nothing to do. Josh and I blame the Raising Hope episode on Tuesday for making us both aware of just how slow time can be when you're working. Hehe.
So, birthday on Saturday. I kinda want to visit Toccoa Falls (since I haven't done that, yet), but iunno if that will really happen. Matthew's not really getting here till 12-ish (probably later if I really want to be pessimistic) and it sounds like Jaclyn suddenly wants to do something. It's kind of funny how my birthday seems to get planned around other people's schedules every now and again. *smiles and shrugs*
Can't wait for tomorrow though, cause there's a zumba master class. Huzzah! Gotta get some real sleep tonight.
Ok, so why am I so tired today? Because I went up to Newberry last night and saw Benise in concert. It was awesome! The Newberry Opera House is a cute little place. He came out after the concert was over to sign autographs and stuff, I was standing there was my tickets, (my newly bought) The Spanish Guitar CD, and a couple of 5x7 posters they had on the table. He was right in front of me, and the original plan was to tell him how cool and awesome I thought the show was and smoothly ask him to sign all that stuff.
What happened in reality: I froze, got tongue tied, and barely managed to offer him my sad stack of things while simultaneously mumbling something along the lines of, "will you sign my...stuff?" Which he smiled to, said "sure" enthusiastically, and of course did. He even wrote my name on the CD. w00t w00t! Honestly though, I think he was surprised to see someone under the age of 40 there and super excited. =^.^=
It was painfully similar to when I met Vic Mignona at AWA back in 2008 after standing in line for over an hour. Blagh. Some things never change. If I had known he was going to come out after the concert, I would have brought my camera. But then I guess my dad would have had to ask him if I could take a picture with him, which would have been EXACTLY what happened when I met Vic. *sighs* Super failure on my part. =/
Anyways, last night was a super amount of fun. It was kind of intense for a while there in the middle of the evening when I had to get home by 6:30 pm and I ended up taking this loopy, crazy detour at 6:15 pm cause a huge section of North East St. was closed. It was the most ridiculous detour I've ever taken. There weren't any signs once they made you turn into a side street. I think there was a lost and confused snake of 25 cars going through the windy back roads of some random neighborhood. Overall, it was a great night! I didn't get back to Clarkesville till 2 am, and I was dead tired. Something about driving always makes me feel tired when I'm done. Not when I'm driving, but when I get home and sit on the bed, it hits me. Then I got up at 6:30 am went to work.
Right...dinner.
EDIT quite a four hours later:
1) eating brought my mood up by a tremendous amount. Yay for food!
2) Baccano turned out to be awesome. I'm only two episodes in and it's hilarious.
3) This news makes me happy: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2010-11-11/efron-not-starring-in-akira-mandate-nixes-oldboy-rumor (...Akira live action = awesome, Akira live action + Zac Efron = not so awesome. Except...there's already an Old Boy movie, so that part's confusing.)

Webcomic ---> Book?
How did I manage to miss the fact Questionable Content published volume one sometime in October? Oh well, just another thing to add to the list of things to keep in mind should I ever feel the crazy urge to buy a book. Hah...that does remind me that I need to collect the rest of MegaTokyo. Geez, it's kind of crazy to think about how popular webcomics can actually get. Ctrl+Alt+Del has figurines.
I spent the night watching Toy Story 3 and some of the extras that come on the discs. It's such a good movie.
Baccano volume one came in the mail today. w00t w00t! I think I'll watch that tomorrow. I heard it's supposed to be a really good series. It'll be a change of pace from the reality/spiritual world of Moribito. Speaking of, Moribito turned out to be completely different from what I initially thought. I was under the impression it was another show that had this cheesy strong female lead surrounded by overdramatic characters in near impossible situations. I don't remember how I got that impression, probably from the few 30-second commercials on Adult Swim. What it turned out to be was detailed, action packed, and hypnotizing. Those half hour episodes flew by in the blink of an eye.
Blah, so much anime to watch and so little time. I haven't updated myanimelist.net in a long time. I guess I was never really keeping track on their website anyway.
So my life in a snapshot. Things at SR are fun. Sometimes there's a lot of urgent stuff, but most of the time it's all pretty manageable. It does seem like the most urgent orders come in between the hours of 4:00 to 5:00. I guess it's because I leave at 5:00. C'est la vie, eh?
Zumba is a ton of fun. I'm going to a zumba master class on Friday night. Hopefully I won't feel too sore on Saturday to do anything fun. I don't know what I'm going to do on Saturday though. Matthew's probably coming over, but even if he does I don't know what we'll do. I guess I can turn to the internet for suggestions. Yeah...
It makes me kind of sad that I have trouble remembering how to write my name in Chinese. I guess I should really work on that. If I can't remember how to write or read much of it, I should be able to remember my name.
There's no Ruka this week. It's kind of quiet, maybe a touch lonely. My parents are bringing her back down on Sunday. I drove up to Greenville on Friday night and she had an "accident" in the car halfway there. Hopefully Febreze will work as well as advertised.
I guess I'll hop into bed. Still gotta work in the morning. Ciao.

Impersonations
I might be watching too much of The Office. I come home, sit down, watch something like three or four episodes, and then I make dinner and watch more episodes.
Right now I am super hungry, and I have been super hungry all day long. I have no idea what I'm going to have for dinner...

"Turn around, turn around, turn around..."
I have a song stuck in my head and that's all I can really remember from it. Ninety percent of it isn't even in English. *sighs*
In other news, Moribito vol. 6 is still sitting in front of my TV waiting to be watched. I can either watch it or play Metal Gear Solid. Decisions, decisions. I got the DVD on Monday, but I haven't had time to watch it. I also feel as if I should pick Cowboy Bebop and Rurouni Kenshin back up sometime soon, but that would still seriously cut into LBP and MGS time. And don't even mention Still Life (a computer game)! Perhaps I have too much time to be thinking about this stuff. It's not even serious. I miss the days when I had something serious to think about, or do I? It's kind of nice being able to care a little less. The lack of pressing decisions is probably making my indecision worse.
I don't experience this sort of thing at work. I guess indecision has never really come up when it comes down to projects, school, and jobs. That's a good thing, right?
Today was fun in an average way. Work was pretty steady today. There was some juggling in priorities at some point or another, but it still felt better than waiting around for someone to send me something to do. After work was good too. Zumba was quite a bit of fun, as usual. We did a cha cha/flamenco song and I started thinking about nights at the American Dance Club. It's too bad the place is gone now. I would have loved to drop in on one of their Thursday night "parties" again.
Jekyll & Hyde keeps coming on my iPod. I feel like I should read the original story one day, I know the general premise, but not all the details.

Flip!
flajiofejaiofjeoiafj
I was in a great mood when I got home from work today. Then I had to talk to my mom about something business related and now I feel like punching something.
Hopefully this feeling won't last longer than 15 minutes.
Anyways, the weather report said there was a 60% chance of rain this evening. I hope it rains. That would be really nice. I'm also on the last 30 or something pages of the book I'm reading. Can't wait to finish reading that before I go to bed tonight.
Ok, back to Illustrator.

"Please review and advise..."
It's officially been over a year.
Maybe this is just a bad habit left over from high school. Looking at things in retrospect makes me wonder...nevermind.
Someone said I'm really good at enjoying life, but I might have to disagree with that.
Work was quite frazzling today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better! Yes!

Vacation Time
So, I finally looked at my calendar this afternoon and came to the sudden realization that I have vacation time coming up. I am the last person on the rotation to schedule vacation, and pretty much all of November and December were filled up. So, I unceremoniously dumped two and a half vacation days on some random week in October. Which happen to be the 13th (half day), 14th, and 15th. Perhaps I will be able to catch up with people. I guess I will just be playing it by ear, as usual.
Today was fun. I went to Oktoberfest with Michelle and her parents. It was in Alpine Helen, GA. A cute little Bavarian town with a bunch of mini golf courses and a really nifty glass blowing store. I couldn't resist the $1.68 grab bag bin sitting right in front of the door, so I bought one. Now I have this teensy, tiny, cute pig to add to the figurine shelf. I think I will put them next to the tiny kittens Daniel got for me as a birthday/x-mas present a couple years ago.
Michelle and I split a beer since she doesn't really like beer, then I got something called a Peach Wine Lushie. It was surprisingly good. Unfortunately, it had ice in it, so I had to drink it slowly. Then we walked around the town and popped in and out of a couple stores. I know it's a tourist trap sort of town, but I would really like to go back there one day and see all the goofy stuff they have.
I was also awoken by a text message and then a phone call. The text message was informative, but the phone call was depressing.
Oh well. Life has its ups and downs, eh?
