HiFlex

I'm in Godfrey on a very pretty Sunday afternoon.

Two of the four HiFlex computers aren't working.

I think this assignment in cursed.

Netflix + Wii

I really wish I hadn't brought my Wii home last weekend. Netflix suddenly decided you could stream instant with the Wii. That would mean I could watch instant on the TV in my dorm. Which would be perfect for times such as right now.

To top things off, if I activate this awesome service within the next 7 days I get a 10% discount on my fee for next month.

Of course I'm not going home this weekend. Blargh.

Sim Heaven

I have just realized I never bought Sim Agents for the Wii. What a shame. I shall have to correct that oversight sometime after graduation. Sadly, I have not turned on my Wii in months, which means I'm still somewhere in the midst of Muramasa. That game I was supposed to finish over winter break, but ended up leaving in Clemson for the entirety of it. Yes, I am a genius.

This feels so weird. I don't feel tired because I took a nap earlier, but I know I should go to sleep. I look at my iCal and I don't feel extremely anxious. It all looks quite manageable at the moment. I can scroll back up to February, and go, "how did I even do that?"

It's 1:30 AM and I really want to play the piano right now for some reason. Unfortunately, I will just have to wait till I go home tomorrow. My roommate is strangely not here, and I'm sitting here listening to iTunes cycle through my random collection of 2000+ songs.

I watched volume 2 of Ghost Hunt today. There were six episodes. I watched the first four with Matthew sometime ago, but I finally found time to watch the last two today. They were about a boy's spirit that was trapped in a game of kakurenbo (hide and seek). Something about that game is just creepy. Not surprisingly, I really want to watching Kakurenbo the (anime) movie right now. That was pretty good.

It's my mom's birthday this weekend.

Capital Exp---what?

I want a paper moon. A BLACK PAPER MOON.
Ok, not really. I just want Soul Eater. All of it. Impossibilities aside.

One week and one day till CEP presentations.
Two weeks left of regular classes.
Two weeks and three days till the GAA conference.
22 days until my final exams.

This is going to be a crazy last 22 days as an undergrad, but I bet it's going to be quite a bit of fun.

It's late at night,
Just the music on the radio,
No one's coming and no one's gonna telephone...

There's still something nice about the 70's flashback on 102.5. It's just a great way to start off a Saturday.

This is the first weekend I've had that isn't TAGA crazy. There's no InDesign party, no Photoshopping to be done. I'm quite confused. It's kinda weird. We got people to fill up the time slots for selling t-shirts at the FIRST competition, so I'm glad I don't have to physically be there to take care of that.

It's nice to take a weekend to myself. I predict piano practice, ISDA write ups, book report re-writes, a little bit of research in the library, and a good bit of Solidworks-ing between now and tomorrow night.

There's another episode of FMA coming on tonight at midnight. Yay!

Last night was great. Craig and I played DDR. Then we had dinner with Melissa and Ben at Five Guys in Anderson. Afterwards it was back to Ben's place for some SSBB and FFIX. It's been a really long time since I've seen FFIX, I forgot just how pretty all the attacks are in that game.

Over 'n out.

Break?

So I unexpectedly punched about four and half hours of my Sunday night out of the time I would have done schoolwork or TAGA stuff. Instead, I ended up hanging out with Matthew (we did do homework together at one point) and played Cosmic Encounter. Surprisingly, I won one game. wat?!

Sorry my semi-responsible self, but I was really burned out from bad days, midterms, and staying up super late to do school/TAGA.

Now I feel totally re-energized. Yay! I guess taking a break every once in a while can be a good thing.

This year in midterms...

The GC448 one was quite terrible. I knew the information, but I just couldn't reach it in my mind.

Piano, I had to backtrack in the middle of my piece. Not that it was difficult, I just lost focus on what I was playing.

Bad test taking day in general. *sighs*

One more midterm on Friday.

TAGA stuff is going to drive me crazy. Just a couple more weeks.
