I put together my counter display today. IT WORKS! w00t w00t w00t!!!
Then I put a bottle, bag, and a paperboard box that's to scale in it.
Everything fits.
This makes me ridiculously happy. ^_^

Old songs on the Radio
♫ When I was young
I'd listen to the radio
Waiting for my favorite songs
When they played I'd sing along
They made me smile. ♫
Ok, so I'm still young and I still do that when I get the chance. When I get a nice (weekend) morning to myself I just leave the radio on and wait for good music. It's quite relaxing.
Oh yeah, I've been listening to Pandora a lot lately. It's just given me a bunch of songs from old-school Britney Spears, *NSync, and the Backstreet Boys. >.>
All in all, today wasn't really that bad. I supposed it could have been a worse. Mondays are generally no fun anyways.
Tuesdays though...now those are fun. =D I get to go to lab and make plates for my box, then I get to plot my counter display and hope that it works. If it doesn't then I've got a few ideas on how to modify it. After that I'll probably try to squeeze in etching my glass cup.
Then the awards banquet is later in the evening. I hope they serve good food there. I've never been to it before, but Dr. O'Hara said he wanted to recognize the TAGA members there. So, we'll see what happens. I don't even know if Jaclyn and Jonny are going. Maybe I'm just as bad at saying "no" as Jaclyn is.
Everything's been going pretty well lately. I might have a bad day, but it doesn't really bother me as much as it used to. Maybe I'm just getting used to this whole living thing. I might have found my center of gravity or something. I dunno, it's been good so far.
Elite Beat Agents is also playing in my head. Must figure out how to defeat the next level. Grrrr.

Glass
I guess it's been a while. I should probably update.
Ok, I have this glass screen printing project in class, right? Right? I like screen printing. *nodsheadmadly*
But I've been working on this since 8 am this morning and now I feel like I am getting ready to go a little nuts. I've washed out my screen 4 freaking times. I might have to do it a fifth time if the image comes off again. =/ I told Dr. Woolbright I'll keep going at this till I print something or shatter something. Of course, if I shatter something, then that would involve cleaning it up...which would probably involve getting cut. Ah, I hope I don't shatter anything. -_-
Let's see...aside from that, things are pretty good. It's dark and gloomy outside. I'm planning on spending my weekend in Clemson. Going to get started on the research papers I have due at the end of the year. La dee da.
Nobody reads this anyway.
Ok, I'm going to go see if my screen is dry.

Box Design, Box Design
I'm sitting in lab right now. I have a book of different package designs open and I keep getting hung up on this one specific package because I can't figure out how it works. Maybe I should just make that one for the satisfaction of seeing how it turns out.
Not sure if I should do that though.
On another note, TAGA has basically eaten up all of my time. I work on this stuff day and night, day and night, and then I go to bed sometime between the hours of 2 am and 4 am without having done any of my other work. At least it will all be done soon. I haven't fallen too far behind in my other classes either. So, I guess I got it covered. I'm just tired.
TAGA...TAGA...TAGA...I basically just finished putting together a 42 page book. Yay! It will all be worth it once it's collated and binded.
IED is coming up. I'm terrified and excited at the same time. I already have an interview lined up with Cyber Graphics on Tuesday. Yay! It would be really cool to intern there.
Ok, back to this book I have open in my lap...

Science
It's been a tiring day and it's not even half over.
Had lab at 8 am this morning. That wasn't so bad. Andy and I detacked our plates and put them in his drawer. Maybe we'll mount them on Thursday. It shouldn't be too hard. I remember mounting the plates for TAGA's CD label last year. Perhaps I should invest in an eye patch.
Then it was lunchtime. I ran into both of the Dr. Woolbright's in Harcombe. Talked for a while. I really like Dr. Woolbright (the woman), she's fun to talk to. The other Dr. Woolbright (her husband) seems nice, but I haven't really gotten to know him yet.
After lunch it was 405 lecture. We gave our presentation on Kodak Pandora. It was better than everybody's because we had a full color brochure and a powerpoint. w00t! We were also really well prepared for actually presenting stuff. Yay~ It's kind of a nice feeling to give a presentation that goes well.
Now I'm in my room studying for my Environmental Science test. I can't study for it like I do for other tests because the information just doesn't want to stick in my head. It's actually very annoying. So, I'm trying a different method of studying. The one I used in high school with flashcards and stuff. Hopefully that will help. I've done two chapters. Just four more to go.
TAGA meeting tonight. I hope people show up. Awright, time to get back to work.

Laundry
No, the title has nothing to do with the post.
This weekend was quite interesting. It was Valentine's and I got to hang out with my good ole friends.
Angel and I did what we were supposed to get accomplished and then we goofed off doing this and that (which was fun in it's own way). We had a great lunch at Pizza Hut and an overpriced dinner at Chili's. >.>;;; Then we ended up spending the night at Ariel's house due to the thick fog that covered the ground. Not to mention the fact that I was dead tired, my eyes were killing me, and my brain was in no state to operate a moving vehicle at 15 mph (much less 65 mph). In fact, I was so tired that I started calling Angel different types of pastries. We finally settled on cream puffs and blueberry muffins.
Now I'm back at Clemson tired as ever. All the muscles in my body feel sore and I just want to crawl into bed and go back to sleep till next week. Unfortunately, there's a lot to be done this week. Tests and papers to write are calling my name even. *sighs*
On another side of the pyramid, I borrowed Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard from Angel. Don't know when I'll get to play it, but it looks super cute.
Time to go to the library and then afternoon classes. Yay~

Quick updates
Ah, it's been a while since I've posted anything in here.
School-wise:
Things have been fun in most of my classes. I have a test tomorrow afternoon in Psychology. Shouldn't be too bad, I hope. I've been studying for it since last week. Andy and I are also ready to make film in 406 lab, so I'm working on the flexible package design now. I found with type of bag I want to use, I just have to measure and design it. Yay! The fun part. I was also looking through a book at B&N about Package design and I found this really awesome package I want to make for the last part of the 406 product line. w00t! We'll see though.
Anime-wise:
Not much going on. Started watching FMP: Fumoffu! Volume 1 was great. Hilarious, anything but a disappointment. It's so nice to have a show that's just as amazing as you'd expect it to be. I've also got volume 1 of Beck and eps 1 - 10 of Welcome to the NHK, courtesy of Daniel.
Friend-wise:
Things are just good. 'nuff said.

Much needed update...
I am back in school. It's not much different than before, but I do have to admit that I am having a little bit of trouble adjusting with the regular class schedules and such again.
I'm taking:
GC 405/406
Creative Inquire: Variable Data Printing
Marketing 301
Psych 364
Environmental Science 200
English 314 (Technical Writing)
I'm currently working on a label design for my 405/406 project. I will probably continue working on that tomorrow afternoon. I have to find some small 2 - 3 inch bottles to put them on too.
On another note, I haven't been watching a lot of anime lately. I guess that has to do with schoolwork. The days leave me feeling tired.
Oh yeah, there was a TAGA meeting last Thursday. We talked about the phosphorous ink and how we are going to incorporate it into our journal box. We got it all figured out, including the on/off switch, the circuitry, and the possible color. Now all we need to do is design it and get the exact size.
There's really not a whole lot going on in life right now. Over and out.

Dum dee dee dum dee...
So, Christmas was good. New Years is coming up and I have to get ready to move back to school. Yay! I think? I don't really know.
Anyways, I got a boxset of The Legend of the Condor Heroes from my dad for Christmas. Tis a Chinese soap opera full of fights, romance, and complicated family junk. I like the actors, but it really bothers me that they've changed so much of the story. Oh well, it's interesting in it's own way. I should really finish reading the novels online though.
On another note, I just finished reading Brisingr by Christopher Paolini. It took me a while to remember the Inheritance story, but it was a good read nonetheless. The story was erring on the predictable side every once in a while, but at least it had a good bit of action in it.
I also watched Ramen Fighter Miki (episode 1) thanks to the stream on ANN. I thought it would be interesting, but Miki is just too psychopathic. Most of the time psycho characters are fun to watch, but she's just over the top. Almost like it's...too much? I don't know. I hope the story gets better as it goes on. No, wait, I hope there's at LEAST a story somewhere in there. It's hard to tell from the first episode.
And that's about it. I'm out everyone.
